The ￥4000 version is for a party booking and includes all you can drink for 2 hours (which in fact is quite a bargain).<br />
Apologies all round to the Hobgoblin Pub.</p>
<p>Haven&#8217;t tried the roast yet, but will let you know.</p>

Me missus was working on the actual day, so I hung out with some friends then, and the next day, had a 2nd birthday with my lady.</p>
<p>First day was a 3hour <strong>karaoke</strong> extravaganza. In Japan they have this thing called &#8220;<strong>nomihodai</strong>&#8220;, which means &#8220;drink as much as you want&#8221; for a couple of hours for about a tenner. This sounded like a top idea, however, the Japanese don&#8217;t seem to understand about drinking during the day, so it&#8217;s soft drinks until 7pm! (We started after my work, about 3.30).</p>
<p>So we chipped off, bought a bottle of sake and smuggled it in. Glad I was too drunk to hear myself sing, as got a feeling it was pretty bad.</p>
<p>My tattooable friend was there (having just had another session), so here&#8217;s some pics.<div id="attachment_421" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 310px"><a href="http://silentjimblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Tattoo.jpeg"><img src="http://silentjimblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Tattoo-300x225.jpg" alt="Japanese Tattoo" title="Tattoo" width="300" height="225" class="size-medium wp-image-421" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Japanese Tattoo</p></div> <div id="attachment_422" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 235px"><a href="http://silentjimblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Tattoo2.jpeg"><img src="http://silentjimblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Tattoo2-225x300.jpg" alt="Tattoo" title="Tattoo" width="225" height="300" class="size-medium wp-image-422" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Tattoo</p></div> (...)<br/>Read the rest of <a href="http://silentjimblog.com/2006/08/my-birthday/">My Birthday</a> (254 words)</p>

It was my day off on Friday (St Patricks Day), so we decided to go to Kobe to have some Kobe steak (pricey, but it was White Day this week, and our 18month anniversary the week after, so we thought what the hell).</p>
<p>On the way, we spotted a girl dressed up a bit like little bo peep, so we followed her in the station and she met some friends&#8230;being a gaijin, I pretended to be a tourist and got them to pose for a picture&#8230;<div id="attachment_143" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 310px"><a href="http://silentjimblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Little-Bo-Peeps.jpg"><img src="http://silentjimblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Little-Bo-Peeps-300x225.jpg" alt="Gothic Lolita it&#039;s Called" title="Japanese CosPlay" width="300" height="225" class="size-medium wp-image-143" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Gothic Lolita it's Called</p></div><br />
They didn`t even attempt to smile.</p>
<p>About 30 seconds after that, a man wearing a purple suit walked past us, and I noticed he was carrying something under his arm&#8230;turned out to be a large chicken (or perhaps cockerel is the better term).<br />
Too shocked to take a photo, I thought the opportunity had gone, until I saw him later, parading his cock for all to see.<br />
